Supporting Softball and Baseball in SE Portland, Oregon

Cleveland Baseball & Softball Inc is a non-profit board that supports the Softball and Baseball programs at Cleveland High School in Portland, Oregon.   We are entirely supported by your donations.  

What we fund

• Coaches - PPS only pays a limited salary for head coaches, and little-to-nothing for assistants and JV.  We fill in the gaps and cover coaching outside of the main season.

• Access for less advantaged athletes - We help to make baseball and softball activities outside of the regular season, such as tournaments and clinics available to all.

• Equipment - From baseballs and uniforms to field maintenance gear, we provide the equipment needed for games and practices.

• Facilities repair - Our fields aren't in the greatest locations and theft and vandalism are constant problems.  We pay for most of the repairs that are all too frequent.

• The Dugout PDX - Opened in 2025, this is our indoor practice facility.   In many years, the team can't practice on the field more than once or twice before the season begins due to moisture.  This facility will help the Cleveland HS and local youth league players get the preparation equivalent the better equiped teams we compete against.
